The first two posts were trying to give you the background on how I got to where I am today. From here on out I hope to be writing about what is happening here and now and not in the past.
Yesterday was Day 1 on the Dukan Diet. I stuck to the diet all day yesterday and because I already had cut out most carbs and sugars it really wasn't too much of a big deal. I can see though where it would be a little challenging for someone who wasn't used to not eating carbs and sugar. So if you're just starting hang in there.
I ate my eggs, turkey, chicken, low fat yogurt yesterday and drank a lot of water. I stood on the scale this morning and was down 1.5 lbs from yesterday. I think it is pretty accurate because I take high blood pressure medicine that has a diuretic in it so I don't retain too much water. I walked on the treadmill last night too. The scale reads 247 which is the lowest it has been in probably 5 or 6 years.
I just finished my egg white with 1 whole egg scrambled eggs and am drinking my water. Turkey Meatballs are in the slow cooker for later.
